We recently hosted an AMA where we shared some exciting developments, including our collaboration with Web3 Compass. Here are the key takeaways:
Working with Web3 Compass: A Search Engine for Web3
The main topic of the AMA was our partnership with Web3 Compass, a search engine designed for Web3. They are working to index decentralized domain names from platforms like ENS, Unstoppable Domains, and tomi domains, as well as decentralized front ends such as those using IPFS and torrents. This will allow users to search for Web3 content in the same way they would use Google, and it should improve accessibility to the decentralized web.
This collaboration is an important step for the decentralized internet. Currently, much of Web3 focuses on digital assets. A good search engine, like Web3 Compass, is a necessary component for a user-friendly decentralized web experience.
We see this as a long-term partnership. We will integrate their search engine into the tomi browser, initially through an API. Eventually, we plan to allow users to search both Web2 and Web3 content from the same search bar in the tomi browser. Our goal is to provide a way to navigate the decentralized internet that will feel familiar and intuitive, which will hopefully encourage wider adoption of Web3.
tomi Products: Updates and New Releases
We also discussed upcoming product releases and updates during the AMA:
- tomi Wallet 2.0: Our new wallet will feature an improved user experience. We have been working on fixes and new features based on user feedback to make it more accessible and user-friendly.
- Decentralized Storage Solution: Our decentralized storage solution will be released soon. This API-driven solution has been designed to meet the needs of developers, and we plan to present a demo to the community soon.
- VPN Update: We are still working on the tomi VPN. We have been working on the integration of the VPN within the tomi ecosystem to maximize its privacy and ad-blocking capabilities. It is currently in development and is expected to be released in the next few weeks.
- AI Integration with PAAL AI: Our partnership with PAAL AI will add AI features to our social media channels and other platforms. This has already begun with our Telegram community and will later be incorporated into our homepage and browser.
tomi Tokenomics: Sustainability and Community Governance
We addressed community questions about our tokenomics, particularly the monthly minting of one million dollars worth of tomi tokens. We explained that this is intended to be a “healthy inflation” that will support the tomi ecosystem. These funds will be used to support the development team, marketing, partnerships, and the development of new technologies.
We are dedicated to transparency and believe in community governance. The DAO can vote to change the tokenomics at any time.
Marketing Strategies and New Collaborations
Our marketing manager, Itay Laor, outlined our strategy for increasing tomi’s visibility, including social media, blog posts, PR, partnerships, and exchange listings.
We talked about our recent participation in the Token2049 conference and announced a new collaboration with PAAL AI.
We stressed the importance of collaborations to introduce tomi to new users and bring new features and value to our products. These are not simply collaborations for exposure, but partnerships that will benefit the entire tomi ecosystem.
tomi’s Vision: A Secure, User-Friendly Decentralized Internet
We are committed to building a decentralized internet that is accessible, secure, and user-friendly. We are working to address community questions and feedback, with the goal of creating high-quality products. We believe that the token’s value will reflect the community’s trust in the project.
We are working to build a decentralized future.
