Dear tomi Community,

We are committed to the development of the tomi ecosystem and the continuous improvement of all our products. Our ultimate goal is to build a new, alternative internet, and we are constantly evaluating our strategies to ensure we are on the right path to achieve this.

Today, we want to share an important update regarding the tomi Privacy Layer (TPL) and our strategic focus moving forward.

A Strategic Decision: Suspending TPL Development

After careful consideration, we have decided to suspend the development of TPL indefinitely. While TPL is an innovative and revolutionary product, we have received concerns from our liquidity partners about the potential damage to the future liquidity of the $TOMI token due to the privacy nature of TPL. It appears that the decentralized industry is not ready yet to grant users their right for privacy.

Token liquidity is of the utmost importance to us, as it directly benefits you, our community and supporters. You are our top priority.

A New Direction for TPL: An Independent Project

Upon reaching this decision, we received a proposition from one of our team leaders, Mr. Moshe Hogeg, who is also the development team leader of TPL. Mr. Hogeg proposed that instead of discarding all the hard work we’ve put into TPL, he would continue to develop it independently, under a different name and with slightly different technology.

As part of this proposal, Mr. Hogeg will step down from his role as a Leader of tomi and will no longer have operational duties within tomi. However, he will remain an investor and consultant to tomi.

Mr. Hogeg has committed to making TPL a non-token based product, so it will not have a token that would compete with $TOMI. He also commits to automatically allocating a substantial part of the project’s profits to buying $TOMI tokens, thus continuously improving tomi’s liquidity.

DAO Proposal and Community Decision

Mr. Hogeg’s proposal will be submitted to the DAO soon for community consideration and voting. While we are supportive of this initiative, we acknowledge that it’s a decision that needs to be made by the community.

Looking Forward: Focusing on Core Products

We are very excited to focus our resources on developing the new tomi Bounty program, upgrading Atomic Browser and tomiPay, and more. This decision allows us to concentrate our efforts on the products that are crucial for us to deliver on our promises to the community.

Summary

In conclusion, we would like to highlight the key points from this update:

  • We have decided to suspend the development of the tomi Privacy Layer (TPL) indefinitely to focus our resources on the development of tomiNet and our other core products.
  • This decision was made in response to feedback from our liquidity partners and our commitment to enhancing the liquidity of the $TOMI token.
  • Mr. Moshe Hogeg, the development team leader of TPL, has proposed to continue the development of TPL independently, under a different name and slightly different technology.
  • Mr. Hogeg will step down from his role as a Leader of tomi and will no longer have operational duties. He will, however, remain an investor and consultant to tomi.
  • Mr. Hogeg’s proposal includes a commitment to automatically allocate a substantial part of the project’s profits to buying $TOMI tokens, thereby continuously improving tomi’s liquidity.
  • The proposal will be submitted to the DAO soon for community consideration and voting.

We are excited about this new direction and look forward to focusing our resources on the development of the tomi ecosystem. We thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Best Regards,

The tomi Team
